Pilates Sessions

True Pilates NZ offers private, duet and mat class sessions. All sessions are 55 minutes in duration and bookings are essential. Sessions are by appointment only, bookings can be made by phone or email.

Private Sessions:

For optimum results, private sessions are a must. Private lessons mean just that: personal one-on-one attention and a programme tailored specifically to your needs. As you progress, the variety of exercises will constantly change so you are working to your peak ability. See pricing.

For all first-time clients, the Starter Pack of five private sessions is recommended. These sessions focus on the basic principles of Pilates and allow you to become familiar with the terminology and the exercises.

Duet Sessions: 

Duet sessions are for two people who are at a similar level of fitness and ability. Working on various pieces of apparatus; the duet is ideal for training partners who enjoy a small group setting and benefit from each others motivation while working through similar exercises. See pricing.

We recommend that you find a partner; however when possible we will try to match clients to suit.

Group Mat Classes:

Group mat classes are limited to six people. All clients attending mat classes will initially be assessed by the studio to ensure they are placed in a class appropriate to their level of fitness. See pricing.

Beginner/Intermediate - A class designed for beginners through to an intermediate level. This class focuses on technique, alignment and a sound understanding of the Basic Principles of Pilates.

Intermediate/Advanced - Designed for the more experienced clients. This class focuses on technique, strength, flow and deepening of the Power House. The exercises are very challenging for both the mind and the body.
